One of my favorite songs is WHEN YOU WISH UPON A STAR from PINOCCHIO. For me, it is a profound instructional manual on how to manifest the things we want. Here is how I interpret it:
WHEN YOU WISH UPON A STAR
“WHEN” is conditional. The first step of manifesting dreams is taking the action of identifying and wishing for them. Too often dreams die before they are even given a chance to take root. Is now the time when you are going to really dig in and wish for what you want?
MAKES NO DIFFERENCE WHO YOU ARE
“WHO” is not conditional. Dreams do not discriminate. Everyone is entitled to wish. Are you creating and telling yourself excuses why can’t get what you want., that somehow other people have the right to their dreams but not you?
ANYTHING YOUR HEART DESIRES WILL COME TO YOU
Again, “DESIRING” is an action and condition of manifesting wishes. Wishing involves a lot of action And DESIRE is a strong word. It isn’t “Anything your heart might kinda want”. It is “DESIRE.” And it isn’t your thoughts, it is your “HEART.” Wishes are manifested based on strong passion from your heart, not your mind.
IF YOUR HEART IS IN YOUR DREAM
Another condition, this time to fully invest in the pursuit of your dreams. We know when are heart is really into something and when we are just dabbling, or my frequently, approach things defensively to protect us from getting hurt or dealing with disappointments.
NO REQUEST IS TOO EXTREME
The only limitations are the ones we place on ourselves.

FATE IS KIND
The Universe really does want to support us. Stop telling yourself the deck is stacked against you. Believe in love and kindness. Practice it. And fate will give it back to you tenfold.
SHE BRINGS TO THOSE TO LOVE
“THOSE” is the selection process of who receives wish fulfillment as outlined through this manual.
(Edit: it has been pointed out that the lyric is “She Brings to those WHO Love” which is even more amazing. Those who bring love into the world get the reward of wishes coming back to them).
THE SWEET FULFILLMENT OF THEIR SECRET LONGING
For anything to be fulfilled it must first be identified, requested and invested into.
LIKE A BOLT OUT OF THE BLUE
While it seems like a bolt out of the blue, in reality it is the fulfillment of the work that goes into pursuing your dream.
FATE STEPS IN AND SEES YOU THROUGH
This is where faith and the Universe step in to see you through in unexpected and magical ways you probably could never have imagined.

It all starts with the action of wishing.
YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE
They do. Not always exactly as we imagine them or in the manner we predicted. But they do come true.
