Lately I’ve been working with a few directors who have been giving me tons of notes…revising and working our way through many different versions of a cue. My attitude was, “ugh, these directors are being so picky, what they want is ridiculous, they didn’t like my cue, which worked really well.” And just generally feeling the directors were impinging on my area of creativity/expertise.
Changed my attitude to, “we’re experimenting together to find the most creative/best music for this scene.”
I’m having a lot more fun now ?
