25 YEARS AGO I WROTE A SHORT STORY about a man who travels to the other side of the world to track down a girl he loved briefly years earlier only to discover he had pursued the wrong person.

Two years ago I started adapting that story into a new Austrian musical, MY SILENT NIGHT with my collaborators John Debney, Alan Zachary, Michael Weiner, Hannah Friedman and Siedah Garrett.

Last night it opened in Salzburg at the historic theatre from the end of THE SOUND OF MUSIC to standing ovations and great reviews.

Tonight I am feeling the warm afterglow of witnessing the birth, created by so many talented friends, of something initially conceived by myself so long ago.
