COMPOSE MORE. WORRY LESS.

It is amazing how much time and how many brain cells we can waste in fretting about what might happen, when that exact same time and energy could be devoted to creating instead.

I am in the middle of putting together the biggest project in my life.

A billion things could go wrong. If I spent between now and my deadline guessing what might go haywire, I might come up with a list of thousand. That leaves a shitload of potential disaster scenarios I might miss.

And what real good does that do me or anyone creating something?

After taking some reasonable precautions, better to devote my little brain to imagining and working, not worrying.

It’s a lot more productive. And a whole lot more joyful.
