I grew up in this home in Bakersfield with my school teacher parents who strongly encouraged my brother, David, and my passions for soundtracks, Disneyland, Famous Monsters magazine, musicals, comic books, the Sherman Brothers, Aurora monster models, board games, themed parties, classic movies, James Bond, Ray Harryhausen, Mad Magazine, new films and collecting.
I have lived such a blessed life that the very things I loved, studied and obsessed about in that early home live on today as my life has taken me on a magical journey of adventures, including recently moving into my mid-century dream house overlooking La La Land.
Walt used to say, “I hope we never lose sight of one thing—that it was all started with a mouse.”
I will never lose sight that my life started with engaging parents, a passionate and kind older brother and a rented tract house topped with a swamp cooler and packed with a plethora of hobbies and interests that have bloomed in unimaginable ways.
IF YOU CAN DREAM IT YOU CAN DO IT.
