Composing can be somewhat of a solitary activity. Composing for film and television is not.
Scoring for film/TV means being part of a team of producers, directors, editors, studio executives, music supervisors, show runners and others.
Working in film and TV can also mean having your own team of orchestrators, programmers, additional writers, engineers, copyists, assistants, representatives, publishers, lawyers, publicists and more.
So how does a composer used to working primarily in solitude grow and expand into becoming a teammate in a highly social industry?
WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM THOSE WHO HAVE FOUND A WAY.
